Since you mentioned that you don't want to live in Atlanta, UF/FSU with a good scholly would be the way to go. This is assuming you don't retake.

There's no reason to go to Emory over UF/FSU if you want to work in Florida, even if they were the same cost. If Emory is significantly more expensive it makes no sense to attend.

No preference between GA and FL? Don't want to settle in Atlanta? From Florida? Want dirt cheap? Go with the cheaper option between UF/FSU or whichever suits you better, assuming cost is about the same.

I'm in the same boat. I live in Florida and would prefer to live further north, but FSU/UF with in-state and $ is hard to turn down. So I'll probably be picking between those two, Vandy (depending on $), and UGA with $$.

What are your numbers? Have you looked at UGA?
