Test of TLS elitism

A lot of TLS'ers talk about how its only jobs that matter, but there is a lot of elitism lurking on this site.
So take an honest vote..Let's assume 85k debt afterwards for both. Both result in a law job (full time, bar passage required, your personal golden goose egg job as a lawyer)
Which one would you choose?

This choice reeks of failure. The only jobs that matter are ones that pay over 145k.
If we just wanted "A job" we would have gotten one without law school.

weird subforum choice.
your hypo is dumb cause its not very plausable. why would you only have a guaranteed job if you attend the TTT?
how much does the hypothetical job pay? Is it in my desired field?

I'm only half kidding. What kind of loser thinks just getting a legal job makes them a success. JFC.

Well I suppose case in point here...
Let's say you were a paralegal and the firm you worked for would allow you to become an associate, but only if you kept working as a paralegal part-time and attended a nearby T3 part-time until you graduated--at which time they would make you an associate. They don't want you to leave to go and get snatched up by somebody else, so they condition your awesome golden goose egg employment contingent on graduating from the in-town law school.

Yes, very weird subforum choice. Am tempted to lounge it, but I won't.

Let's assume 85k debt afterwards for both.
At the point where you have an ~70-80% chance of getting biglaw/PIGOVT/A3 right out of the upper half of the T14, 85k debt would be an absolute steal. Screw this hypothetical shite firm.

Guaranteed firm. no school in the 14-20 range is placing anywhere near half its students into firm jobs, and I don't think (too lazy to look it up) any of those schools are placing more than 3/4 of their students in FT/LT JD required jobs

OP, this thread is bad and you should feel bad. There are about a million variables you aren't considering.

I think I can rephrase the OP: there's no reason to pick between two schools, now pick between two schools. Elitist!

Of course there is elitism on top-law-schools. Combine youth with circle jerks about "rankings."
Who cares? Still a lot of valuable and/or fun things about this site.

Neither should definitely be an option. It's definitely what I would choose.
I will grant you that most law students that would create accounts on a "top law schools" board may trend at least tangentially toward some form of elitism. It's actually kind of follows ipso facto from name of the board. Doesn't mean elitism defines our decision-making or rational faculties.

Ok ill just answer my questions myself.
if its my desired field and pays market I would go to the TTT
if it isn't both of those things, I would take my chances at a better school.

if it's a guaranteed job paying $85k and law school is free, I'd take that over paying sticker for a 1/3 chance at earning market

Hmmm... I think the OP is secretly trying to get everyone's opinions on which school he/she should pick without getting the response of "retake".
