I *Heart* Competition

Should I therefore forget YS altogether? This non-ranking business kind of sounds like my 4th grade teacher who encouraged us to "hold hands and dance around the rose bush." Sounds like H is the TCR.

You've gone from being a regular at the Lewis & Clark applicants thread to deciding you're too competitive for YS?

I hate to break it to you, but H doesn't have real grades either.

None of this "honors pass" crap for you, sir.

Y and S grads compete later. For jobs like US senator, POTUS, etc.

I know, these schools sicken me too. Looks like Baylor is the only place where you belong. They know how to do competition right.

To those elitist Yalie pansies, I say...

It's easy to see the point of confusion. I am a native Oregonian and last year, when researching schools, was still considering what is widely believed to be the "best" school in the state. I no longer am.

I have YHS numbers--I know that is not sufficient for at least two of the three--and am trying to get a feel for the competitiveness of the cultures.

It has also come to my attention that some believe the top of the class at Harvard have distinguished themselves in ways YS grads cannot.

I understand there is a hidden numerical system used to determine rank.

Take a scholly and gun for a 4.0 at Columbia.

Make sure to request resumes and transcripts when trying to form a study group.

Apologies if I offended you. Are you sure someone so sensitive as yourself is cut out for law?
