Yeah it'll be really interesting to see how TTs and TTTs fare in medians.

Most schools release numbers during or after orientation

Poor Stanford's still pulling multiple people off the waitlist.
It's going to be bad, guys.

Isn't that good for those of us applying this cycle?

Yes. But it'll be bad for schools making the Sophie's choice between revenue and staying afloat in USNWR. Ultimately a great thing for the industry as schools start to close.

I read something that schools that had their numbers out at this time last year still don't have this year's numbers out. A lot of people think that it's because numbers are so much worse. I can't wait for some schools to shut down.

Let me rephrase. When I say, "it's going to be bad";

I mean, they are pulling mostly 3.8+/175+. Not exactly a medians hit

Maybe not, but there's kind of a different theme this year. Two cycles ago, Stanford at sticker was always matched against, like, NYU with a half scholarship, and Stanford could afford to not take people off the waitlist in August because they knew they had their class locked in by July. Now they have to play Russian Roulette with their yields, hoping that the person they offer a spot to will take Stanford over, say, Penn on a full ride.
Maybe it's that LST's numbers are quite a bit better than last year's, but ultimately Stanford's gotten a lot more concerned with numbers this cycle than last.

I'm hoping this trend continues lol

I agree. It shouldn't be too late to put something together.

Someone started the median tracking thread. The format looks good.

Is that a joke?? They were saying on their twitter that apps went up. That has to be a mistake.
