BC vs Fordham

Hey so I am deciding between BC and Fordham. I plan on transferring after a year regardless to be closet to family elsewhere in the country at a "better" (higher ranked) institution.

Does it really matter which school I choose between the two?

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm just a 0L, but the conventional wisdom around here is that you shouldn't go to a law school with the intent to transfer up.

My advice would be to go to a law school from which you would want to graduate.

Be prepared to graduate from whichever school you choose.

Why do you think you'll be able to transfer?

Planning to transfer is a horrible idea. What makes you think you'll land in the top 10% of a class filled with people with similar credentials/intelligence?
The far easier and wiser path is to wait a year and retake.

A URM with a 3.67 and 170? Are those numbers real?

Why would you settle for BC or Fordham?
