Hofstra Law Fellowships- worth it?

Hey,
So I know that TLS has a great aversion to Hofstra Law, but I was wondering whether anyone had any insight on whether their fellowships were worth applying to; and if one is chosen for the fellowship, should they attend Hofstra law? I am particularly interested in the Health Law Fellowship which comes with a $20,000/year scholly and two $7,500 summer internship stipends.

Thank you!

Will that fellowship ever lead to full-time legal employment?

I would never go to Hofstra in this economy.

Not that I'm trying to defend Hofstra law... but from my limited research, it seems like all past (up until 2011 grads) Health law fellows are employed in full time legal jobs that pertain to Health law- which is why I'm wondering whether the fellowships are worth it or not. Thank you for your response!

Again, thank you very much for your response! I gathered my 'data' from the listed past fellowship grads (on the hofstra health law website), their linked-in profiles, and cold- contacting them.

Also, HOLY CRAP... I didn't even see that part about fellowships being renewed by semester after the first year. Sneaky bastards!
