158 LSAT, 3.1 GPA
Wait listed:
Temple
Richmond
Maryland
Cardozo
Accepted:
American - sticker
Penn State - $10,000/yr
Chicago Kent - $20,000/yr
Brooklyn - $20,000/yr
What is my best option at this point?
Does anyone here know if I could negotiate scholarships at any of these schools and what the chances of it working are? Also, do you think I have a shot at being accepted to any of the schools I am currently wait listed at and if so, do you think they will offer money?

If you've ever looked at these forums before, you know what everyone is going to say. If not, look around and you'll find out.

With that GPA, you shouldn't go to law school without a 170 AT LEAST.

None of the above. Retake the LSAT or do not go to law school.

Don't go. Get a job, any job, and re-apply. Seriously. Take the LSAT again.

Don't go to Kent because you might get shot by the national guard

But obviously the right answer is American at sticker... In all seriousness, retake.

Yeah, OP will want to be a splitter. None of the schools on his list are worth it without significant $cholly money (85-100% and no stips!) and/or connections to a guaranteed job after graduation. Even then, he should think long and hard about retaking.
These days, if you're not "T14 or bust" (plus maybe Vandy or Texas), you pretty much need your head examined.

I lol'd HARD. Honestly this would probably still be a better outcome than graduating with 200k in debt from any of these schools.
But seriously OP, did you draw these schools out of a hat? Where are you from and where do you want to practice? These schools at these prices are all TERRIBLE options. We're talking about life-ruining debt for a 30-40k legal job
if you're one of the lucky ones. You want to be a lawyer? Then you need to take the LSAT seriously and go to a school worth going to at a price worth paying. Otherwise, do not attend law school.

He's probably referring to Chicago-Kent LS, not Kent State U where the OH NG shooting happened.

AU @ sticker is going to be your best option, bro. That way you could end up with over $200k of debt and a
38.9% chance of becoming a lawyer.
