UGA vs Wake vs W&M
Biglaw would be the goal, although I understand that it is a stretch from any of these. I am a native of North Carolina. The COA I have posted is total including interest. I have visited all three and wasn't really pulled to one over the others. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Where do you want to practice?
If you don't care, probably Wake, since you have ties.

I really don't care where I practice. I am just concerned that picking Wake over UGA would be somewhat limiting in terms of biglaw given the statistics and locations.

I feel like BigLaw opportunities are too remote at all schools to make that the deciding factor. I vite Wake Forest due to your ties as well. It's a shame UNC isn't in the mix. Are you on the WL?

Per LST, you're looking at:
W&M 73% employed, 10% underemployed, 13% biglaw
Wake 67% employed, 21% underemployed, 15% biglaw
UGA 69% employed, 17% underemployed, 17% biglaw
These differences are pretty insignificant, but if you had to rank, maybe UGA comes out on top? Seems like a wash.

If we're going to LST, let's at least throw fed clerking in there.jackattack17 wrote:Per LST, you're looking at:

UGA gets another 7.4%, total 24%.
Wake gets 4.5%, total 19.2%.
W&M gets 5.9%, total 18.6.%.
I always say that UGA is a good deal for the in-state price, but if you have ties in NC, that's not a small thing.

UNC is in the mix but no scholarship offer. I also despise their administration and have had bad experiences with their undergrad faculty as well. At around 115k coa, they are not an option.
Uiuc is still afloat as well, at 65k, but Im not crazy about working in Chicago.
