Deciding where to go- Thinking I want to work in NY, no interest in government/political work, Fordham gave me the most $, Love NYC

Leaning toward Fordham for above reasons, but having trouble with the fact that GW has a higher ranking...

If you want to work in nyc and have a good scholly don't see how GW will beat that. Fordham is much more likely to help you reach your goals, and its not like dc is much cheaper than nyc. Fordham is an easy choice here.

For sake of argument pretend the cost is the same (parents footing the bill), but that said Fordham gave me more than GW did

How much is the scholarship? I'm sure you've seen these numbers before, but just in case:

http://www.lstscorereports.com/?school=gw

GW has quite a bit of jobs that are school funded, but it also has a much higher government job rate than Fordham (which I know you mentioned you were not interested in, but its always good to have a back up plan in case OCI does not work out). I know very little about Fordham and do not know of the networking/government/PI options one has after they strike out at OCI. I haven't seen any Fordham Students taking questions on this board lately, but maybe someone can chime in.

But in your case, I'd say Fordham (because of scholarship), if the money different is not significant, I'd do more homework and see what currents students at each school say about their options post-OCI (who were unsuccessful).

I'm sure you'll do great wherever you attend, but its also good to think of worst case scenarios. :)

With a 3.82/164, $10K per year at FU, and sticker at GW, the only correct answer here is retake. Don't waste huge amounts of your parents' money.

Yes. This. And if your parents are paying, at least have them throw down 200k on a school with a better ROI.

This. You'd have a great chance at NYU if you can bump up your LSAT 4-5 points. Cornell would then be an auto-accept.
