Where do you want to end up? If Cali, UCLA seems like the best option. I'd guess, retaking would only get you minimal returns as 3.2, 170 and 3.2, 173 are not really all the different (in either case, you are probably getting small or no money from t14 anyway).

"Retake" is a pretty good stock response for your situation for two reasons:
A: If you are going to be $42347081479 in debt, might as well try to do it at a better schools.
B: NU/Cornell's 75th are HIGHER than 170, so if you do retake, get a LSAT they can use to up their number even more, it could be worth more money. Have you scoured LSN for people with ~3.2/173 or 3.2/175 etc.? See what they are getting now, and then you'll know how much those extra points matter.

WITH THAT SAID: The only way I would actually advice retaking an already great score is if you are confident you can do better. You seem very, very unsure as if you feel you already overperformed (what were your PT scores)?
But, if the only thing you did for LG was the bible, maybe trying something else will help in that section. It is, definitely, 100% learnable (which I know you are tired of hearing).

You might not have to retake. But if your practice tests you were scoring higher, you should.

Sit out, and reapply EARLY next cycle. You will get much better schollies. Blanket CCN down. Throw a hail mary to the H bomb. Make sure your essays are polished for your apps. There have been lower LSAT scorers that have reported way more generous scholarship offers and acceptances.

I was pting in the same range 168-172, so I don't necessarily feel like I overperformed but I didn't underperform either which worries me a bit. Would you recommend a different logic games book? I've heard things about Manhattan but wasn't sure if it was better or worse than Powerscore. And I appreciate the 100% learnable part (it gives me a certain amount of optimism to take the edge off of the fear)...I just wish my brain would get the memo.

On learning LG:

The bible will not do it alone. Read advanced techniques again, and then start drilling sections. I drilled LG sections exclusively for weeks, before it started to click.

retake, and reapply early -- practice withe Manhattan's new LG guide. Its golden.

Yes! Look at LSN for the schools you applied to. I have personally seen numerous posters in here with worse numbers get more money. Sure it depends on the total package: your work experience, essay writing skill.... but dude you gotta apply early. Jan is far too late.

I'd drop a grand on a prep class if I were in your shoes to get over the logic games if you can't tackle them on your own.

a 3.2 URM w/ a 170 should be getting into numerous T14 w/ money. Then you can use those acceptances against each other to potentially get the highest amount possible.
