If someone wanted to practice in Alaska, which school would they attend?

I would imagine the University of Washington would be your best bet, since there are no ABA law schools in Alaska.
Along with, of course, the T-14.

I regularly serve drinks to a guy who used to practice in Alaska, he claims there are a ton of Northeastern grads working there.

UW has some Alaska connections. I know some AIII judges in Alaska hire out of UW, for example. If you already have ties to Alaska, however, I'd probably just go to a T14 instead.

According to this cover article on NUSL grads in Alaska, there were 70 grads as of 2004, incl. Chief Justice of the AK Supreme Ct-

FWIW my Northwestern interviewer got state clerkship out in Alaska. (didn't have ties there, was originally from norcal)
