Employment Data Updates

Just wanted to give TLS some employment data updates. First class of 2012, then class of 2011.

Class of 2012: These data are trickling out on school websites now. Under the accreditation standards, every school must post their ABA Reports (with c/o 2012 data) on their websites by March 31st. Sometime soon, probably in the second week of April, the ABA will post all of these data. At that point, LST will release its updated Score Reports with more to follow this summer once schools get their NALP Reports (June).

Class of 2011: We just updated data for 40 schools (listed below). The updates follow our latest Transparency Index. The number of updates added varies, but I've tried to give some indication below.

A few entries of note: Columbia, NYU, and Berkeley are now publishing NALP Reports. These schools join Michigan as the only elite schools making this effort.

The total number of schools publishing a NALP Report, either on their website or directly to LST, is now 90, a massive improvement over zero (duh). See the list here, but note that I've not uploaded the new NALP Reports yet -- just go to the NALP Report format page on the school's profile to see the data.

I'm new around here, but LST already seems incredibly useful. Truly an invaluable resource.

LST has truly changed the world when it comes to understanding law school data. Maybe the best thing to ever happen in the realm of law school decisionmaking.

It really has. Whenever I discuss law school with prospective applicants in person or in tutoring or anything, LST is usually the first website I recommend. I also can't thank you guys enough.

Just read the report for my school, incredibly depressing. More incredible, if I talk to my 2L friends, they still repeat the mantra that we will all get jobs and that most of the class has jobs at graduation, when that's objectively not true.
