Top Law Schools

Could anyone tell me the strengths and the weaknesses between the two and which one might be harder to get into?

I'm going to take your Barry v. FL Coastal as a sign you want to be in Florida. Neither is a great choice. You have less than a 40% chance of graduating with a job that requires a JD. If you're absolutely dead set on becoming an attorney, I'd say take Barry. This is mostly due to Barry having (marginally) better employment figures, BAR passage rate, and being in Orlando (which is a freaking awesome city).

DO NOT PAY STICKER. You will NOT graduate with a job worthy of those debt loads. If that's your only option, just don't go to law school.

If u take the LSAT asleep you'll get a score better than required for both of these schools. If you really wanted to go, Barry is a better choice, but--and I can't stress this enough--it's like choosing between rotten food or paper/plastic as a source of nutrition.

If you want to stay in florida, don't settle for anything less than UF/FSU.....or maybe miami if u dont mind practicing there.

I am serious just with my gpa 3.6 but my overall gpa 2.5 (due to being on my own and not knowing about finsncial aid etc first year of college I had to drop out and work to live). Lsat haven't taken yet so don't wanna give imaginarey numbers.

Also looking at Lsn with people similar to me those are the t4/5 acceptance schools, unless they look at my work history and the life obstacles I have overcome

Could you retroactively withdraw from all your freshman year classes? I don't know much about the process, but people on TLS have talked about having semesters whipped off their transcripts because they ended up withdrawing from school for one reason, or another.

I can't speak about Florida Coastal, but I knew a guy that went to Barry a number of years ago. What is he doing now? Some marketing job in Minneapolis that he could be doing with an AA degree. He was none too pleased with his education. Other than that, I know nothing about either school.

Well at least he got a job. With a J.D., securing that marketing position must have been an uphill battle.
