In state, so my out of pocket is the same either way (roughly 5k + living expenses).
I realize UNC's numbers are slightly better. I would especially appreciate input about factors that may not be obvious from looking at the stats.

UNC...at least there you wont have to watch a basketball team coached by one of the worst hires in D1 history.

Not sure why you wouldn't base your decision off stats. You have a noticeably better shot at employment from UNC - Seems like a no brainer.

If the 2012 numbers are to be believed, the differences are much less than LST for 2011.
Wake 2012 Employment Stats Employed at firm >100 | 23/156= 14.7%
UNC 2012 Employment Stats Employed at firm >100 | 42/256= 16.4%
I'm not sure I would characterize a point and a half as "noticeably better."

Using this
handy calculator (thanks Georgetown), assuming net summers of $0, no additional scholarship money (still a possibility from Wake) and including a 3.5% yearly CoA hike, it works out to:
UNC total indebtedness: $105,058
Wake total indebtedness: $94,931

That's pretty pricey if you end up at median though.
