Because here's where you stand:resilience99 wrote:why are you assuming thats my choice?Davidbentley wrote: Nice try, but "never go full retard."
Retake.
(1) GPA >3.5 - great shot at full rides to most schools with high LSAT
(2) 3.0 < GPA < 3.5 - great shot at significant aid to most schools with high LSAT
(3) 2.8 < GPA < 3.0 - good shot at T14 with high LSAT.
(4) GPA < 2.8 - wherever you go you shouldn't be going to law school because the cost almost definitely won't be worth it.
Caveat: You've burned all your retakes for at least the next year and didn't break 150 or 155. In that case, don't go to law school because you threw away over $1000 and couldn't be bothered to put the effort in for a necessarily better score.
Whichever one you are in, the best answer is retake or don't go.
edit: I agree with rad lulz after seeing that. You'd be an idiot to leave a probably stable 40k/yr job for a 30-50% chance at getting an unstable 40k/yr job after being unemployed for three years.

It is hard to answer this without more specifics about the schools in question and the person.
The uncontextualized answer is retake>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>full-ride at the T3 if there are reasonable stips, it places at least 50% in full-time, long-term legal jobs, and you have ties to the region where it is located. If not, then neither.

What T3 are we talking about and where are you from? Total COA? You've given us zero information, which makes this thread pretty useless.
The 40k job is absolutely the credited response though. Retake the LSAT during your time off. And stop being an ass to people just because retaking is the right move and you don't want to hear it.

Seriously won't be able to help without more context. What schools? Also why isn't being able to retake "your choice"?

Normally I understand the retake fear: they're staring at unemployment after graduating college, they're nervous about what their friends and family will think, and they don't know what they'll do. But OP makes no sense. He's got a really solid job to keep him occupied and allow him to save a little money for law school while he retakes. Its a no-brainer.
