$15K from Notre Dame or $31K from William & Mary Forum

I was offered $15k a year from Notre Dame, while I was offered $31k a year from William & Mary in the form of a scholarship/graduate fellowship. While I like Notre Dame a bit more than William & Mary (and the greater possibility of work in Chicago), I'm not sure it would be worth passing up a $31k offer. Thoughts?

I like Chicago, but it is no where close to a deal breaker. DC is my second favorite city.

Please closely evaluate the percentage of graduates from W&M who have full-time employment and are in D.C.

Well, going to Notre Dame doesn't guarantee Chicago for you and $15k/yr is not nearly enough. I guess I would take W&M, but maybe not if you don't have any ties to Virginia (don't expect to work in DC).

I applied with a 3.75 (Upward trend, however. Haven't had below a 3.9 since freshman year) and 166. In terms of the post a couple spots up, I do a few ties to Virginia - Dad grew up in northern VA and both parents went to W&M undergrad.

Obviously, both markets are difficult to crack, but I'm not going to set the bar low. Thanks for the input!

Stips were maintaining a "B" average at W&M and I believe top 50% at ND (don't have the offer in front of me at the moment).

Retake bro. A few extra points and you could get Chicago or UVA

There's no stip on the ND scholarship, we're not that TTT.

In any case, retake. 15K is not enough for ND.
