Title says it all, I qualified for a fee waiver for the LSAT, and got the free super prep book. Was wondering if the $21 reporting fees will be waved too when I send out my applications. Got most of my application fees waved, would be awesome if reporting could be to.

Each approved LSAC fee waiver will entitle you to:

[*]two LSATs (test dates must fall within the two-year waiver period);
[*]one registration for LSAC's Credential Assembly Service (CAS), which includes the Letter of Recommendation Service, the LSAC Evaluation Service, and access to electronic applications for all LSAC-member law schools;
[*]four law school reports included with the Credential Assembly Service, available only after final approval of an LSAC fee waiver;
[*]one copy of the Official LSAT SuperPrepĀ®.

Not sure if that is what you are referring to or not.

This. The first 4 reporting fees are waived and then you pay the $21 per app after that.

Wait really? So I shouldn't be paying that $21 fee for my first four applications?

These are the waivers from LSAC. Waivers from schools require you pay the $21 fee per app.

Do LSAC fee waivers work retroactively?

By this do you mean do they refund any money you've already spent? If so, no. The fee waiver, once approved is valid for 2 years from the time of approval, but it won't cover any expenses you've already paid to LSAC.

Damn. That was my plan.

Pretty sure when I first applied I was eligible but instead of stating that my bank account savings was from pell grants/loans/schollys and was to be used for my cost of living expenses during the semester, I just got dinged and didn't realize I could use this explanation to justify my savings amount.

Oh well, such is life.

I remember that it asks you for your current and savings account $, excluding financial aid. If your aid amount exceeds the balance in your accounts, then you can just put $0.

Ah.

Maybe it was because my parents savings account exceeded the amount.
Hopefully I wasn't so stupid I just misread that part.
