Equating the opposition of increased taxes in business to ownership of big oil is not a strong link. Republicans oppose tax increases across the board for all kinds of companies.

Dude, Solyndra was founded in 2005. Obama was elected in 2008. Scientists have been studying global warming and reached a consensus long before that.
