What is your guys' opinion? I know the pros and cons of both, but considering I am a South Carolina alumnus, it is hard to get an unbiased view in my own mind.

The money at South Carolina is instate equalization while mercer would be full price.

Thanks!

Do you want to work in South Carolina? Are you from there or did you just go to school there?

Mercer at sticker is insanity, but only go to South Carolina if you want to stay there and you realize it's an uphill battle because there are no jobs there.

That's not even an opinion bro. It's a fact. I went to undergrad in SC. It's one of the most parochial states in the country and runs on a giant good ol' boy network.

That's what I figured. Every time I've visited there I get the impression that things are very close-knit.

ETA: bro

Between the two, USC is the better choice due to lower cost & your established relationships there.

Outside of friends, I have better job connections to Atlanta than Columbia.

Yea, but Mercer won't get you either.

I vote for South Carolina, I know SC isn't ranked that high, but it sure seems like practicing in SC requires a particular accent and alumni connections.
