You're offered a scholly at Oregon, right? No brainer. Don't pay sticker (anywhere). It's a trap!

At sticker, Utah is too much, as I'm OOS. However, Utah's rules for OOS becoming residents are considerably more lenient than Oregon's; with the most generous possible reading, tuition at Utah at sticker is ~$7k higher than Oregon w/ scholly. (The more realistic reading would put it about $26k higher.)

Maybe there's something about this cycle and depressed admissions; I didn't think anyone would give money to someone off the waitlist, but Oregon did. I, perhaps naively, was hoping that Utah might do same. For someone like me, Utah with any scholly would be hella tempting indeed.
