Trying to make up my mind between these two final contenders. Interested in public interest route. LSAT 164 GPA 3.56. From DC area.

Scholarships:
$7,500 per year @ Maryland with instate
$21,000 per year @ L&C

Estimated Cost of attendance per year for me with scholarships taken into account:

L&C: $38,830
Maryland: $43,194

Are these so close in job prospects and cost that it really comes down only to East/West? Does the ranking difference matter at all to employers (Maryland @ 39 L&C at 58)? Help me out!

Out of the two it's easily Maryland. Do you have any savings or all loans?

My meager savings will be blown to $0 after this summer. Why is Maryland the obvious choice?

You are from the dc area. You are the exact person that should be going to Maryland. Moving to go to Lewis and Clark will be very bad unless you have ties to the area. Did you already attempt to negotiate with Maryland?
