Where are you from originally? What does your wife do for living (i.e. could she conceivably cover your cost of living expenses?

I think Cardozo would be a reasonable choice in your situation. You will have to do well at either school to get a job, especially without midwest ties and NYC would be a better situation for your wife from what you say. Fair point about dropping out if you lose the Cardozo scholarship too, that is the most reasonable choice.

Some background: I have no ties to the Midwest, my wife will be seeking employment in new location (should be a bit easier in NYC - some friends and connections). Will probably (hopefully) not need to take out COL loans at either (savings, income). Stips for Cardozo scholarship is maintaining a 2.9% (top 80%). I would, without hesitation, drop out if I was bottom 20% at either school. Have little geographic preference but would love to live in NYC (wife has always wanted to move there), but I also like St Louis a lot.

Sorry for grammar/spelling, typed from my phone.
I vote Dozo on this one. No debt is pretty good. Just make sure you and your wife are committed to potentially making this a 1 year experiment.

I think I lean Dozo at this point too. No debt would be really great. However, if your wife can get a decent job in St. Louis (there are some solid big companies HQ'd here, tell her to start applying), then a degree from WUSTL with only $50-60k in debt would be pretty solid too. Good luck OP.

84k is what, 60% of the tuition? That's not bad. If your wife really would prefer NYC, then Cardozo might not be a bad option too, for free. Job prospects aren't going to be stellar, but a relatively low-risk choice if your wife can get a job.

The prospects from both schools are pretty similar in my opinion. Go with Cardozo.
