Top Law Schools

Hi all,

I'd appreciate any input you guys have in helping me make this tricky situation. I just got back from visiting these schools and am now more confused than ever. Each school was impressive in its own way. I am from the bay area and want to end up working in CA, preferrably the bay area but I wouldn't mind working in LA. I graduated from undergrad in December so I'm basically coming from right out of school. While I am not opposed to big law I don't want to feel forced into a position because of mass amounts of debt. Any and all opinions are appreciated!

I think this comes down to Duke or UCLA.

What's the total COA for these schools?

I agree it comes down to Duke or UCLA. Duke has the best overall job prospects whereas UCLA has the best chance of getting you a job in CA (including NorCal).

What do you want to do if you don't want to do biglaw?

UCLA.

Agreed. I'd lean duke. That's a decent scholarship and it will get you back with your great ties. An argument could easily be made for ucla as well. It's certainly less risky.
