Pretty straight forward. Want to work in Tennessee. Have decent connections to the state. Am I crazy to go UTK with in state over Vandy at sticker???? Thanks

You'll save roughly $96,000 in tuition alone by going to UTK. How would your COL be in Knoxville compared to Nashville?

If you want Tennessee, nope. Sounds pretty reasonable. Vandy at sticker is 200K+ in debt. You need biglawl moneys to pay that off bruh. That means leaving Tennessee, most likely.

Thanks guys. COL in Knox is a bit cheaper then Nash but not so much that it would affect my decision. I think my minds all but made up but a little reassurance never hurts.

How much scholarship money would Vanderbilt have to offer you for you to change your mind?

Where in TN do you want to work? And what kind of work do you want to do?

Not crazy. Have you asked Vanderbilt for scholarship consideration ?

Have more of a science background so I lean towards environmental or land use, but I am going in with an open mind so don't have a preference yet about what to practice. I'm from Memphis, but I think I'd prefer to live in east Tennessee either the Knoxville or possibly Nashville area.

In that case, the $100k cost difference (reported below) is a very important consideration
