What are your goals? Where are your ties? LSAT/GPA?

12K/yr tuition at Rutgers sounds pretty good to me.

Don't know why you would consider Penn State unless you want to practice in Pennsylvania. Especially if Rutgers is cheaper, this is a no-brainer.

Honestly, Penn State was the first school I got into and was super ecstatic about the money. But I guess I need to not let emotion get the best of me.
That's great, now what was your LSAT/GPA and what are you goals, broheim?

160, 3.3 - Why do you ask?

Goals are honestly up in the air - my biggest concern would be where I can practice.
To see if you possibly could have gone somewhere better. Maxed out retakes?

As long as you don't want biglawl Rutgers at 12K/yr is a fine option. I'd do that if you're content with working in North/Central Jersey. Don't go with hopes of making it to NYC, because you probably won't unless you finish at the tip top of your class.

In terms of higher ranked schools, I'm still waiting on Temple, Seton Hall, Brooklyn, Case Western, and St. John's.

But in terms of cost - I'm pretty sure it won't get any better than this.
Temple in state would be good. Case would be ok with a big scholarship if you wanted cleveland. SH/Brooklyn/St Johns are a death sentence.

Are any beliefs of Case having more national reach just delusions?
I've heard this before as well, so there may have been some truth to it in boom times. But I wouldn't go there now if I wasn't ok with ending up in Cleveland.

I know next to nothing about the Cleveland market, but it's ranking suggests it's quite regional. Maybe a current CWR student could shed some light on it.
