UChi places a lot of emphasis on its small class size and the relationship with professors that this cultivates, especially in terms of accessibility. Is it that much harder to build these kind of relationships at its larger peer schools? Are these relationships as important as UChi stresses? How much of a factor should one heed to UChi's train of thought?

If you're picking amongst peer schools, you should be making your decision based on cost and to a lesser extent personal preference (for the city, vibe from the school, etc).

In your estimation then are peer schools equal in terms of financial value? So...if all at sticker than Columbia > UChi > NYU? Or, would you suggest it's worth it to say UChi with say 15k/yr is still better value than NYU with 20k/yr?

If all sticker, then Columbia = Chi = NYU since they're peer schools, with perhaps slight differences if you're really gung-ho about certain fields (e.g., NYU for PI since they have larger institutional support) or locations (e.g., choose Chi if you want to practice in Chicago, and CLS/NYU if you want to practice in NY).

If you want to practice in Chicago and/or prefer the atmosphere at UChi, then a 15k difference is definitely small enough to justify choosing Chicago.

Depends what you're shooting for. Clerkships, yes. Biglaw, no.
