This is not accurate. 3.2 at Loyola is top 50% of the class. Last year the top 50% cut-off was 3.17.JDProspect wrote:Loyola is really known for giving out too many scholarships. Thus, after the first year students lose it. So, you really need to consider that possibility in your cost/debt analysis. At UCI it is guaranteed as long as 2.0 requirement is met. That is much easier than top 30% at Loyola. Perhaps if you can negotiate the stipulations then it would be worth it to you.
Flame. The stipulation is non-negotiable.decisions/are/hard wrote:Who competes stronger for jobs in entertainment law?
Loyola graduate or UCI graduate?
I appreciate everyone's input. Got my stipulation removed from Loyola, so now I'm stuck but considering UCI and doing the jd/mba since I have upped my scholarship in the jd department.
Everyone seems to be saying UCI. While I think their employment numbers are only better than Loyola's because their class size is smaller, I don't think the factors mentioned about Loyola (the speaker, trial advocacy program) make it a smarter choice for me to enter entertainment.
