The precise definition of libertarianism aside, I wouldn't recommend GMU for several reasons. Primarily, the job prospects. But I will agree that GMU is a hotbed for free-market ideas. This is generally anarcho-capitalistic and minarchist, not right-wing conservative. So the flavor will be much different than right-wing extremism. And it is noticeable. This isn't to say that these ideas are necessarily wrong but if you don't want to be immersed in that culture GMU is not for you. I've spent a lot of time their on campus and that's simply the way it is. If you're not into it, go to Richmond.
