Want Boston? Then BU hands-down. Minnesota/Emory won't get you there at all, WUSTL could if you had ties and great grades.

should've phrased it differently... i'm well aware that going to say, Wash U., would give me vastly different options after school than attending BU. My question is whether the options out of a slightly higher ranked school like Minnesota or Wash U. (wherever they may be) would be significantly better than at somewhere like BU. My preference for living in Boston is only slight, i've lived in the midwest for years now and would stay if the job prospects out of a school located there would be better than coming out of a school in Boston.

If you want to live in the midwest and work for a small/midsized firm. If you want to work in the northeast or a bigfirm in general, BU no question.

BU has better big law placement and is obviously much better for Boston. Unless you are getting more money from WUSTL or really want the Midwest, I don't see what is tough about this one.
