I like the part where the judge says that everyone should know the market for lawyers is terrible. And how students would have to be wearing blinders to not realize it. Also students are supposed to be sophisticated consumers and not rely on the schools data alone.

Typical Boomer mindset!

People forget what it's like to be young and full of optimism. I suppose working as a lawyer or judge cures you of that quick snap.

Tl;dr but from what I read, some of them do have jobs so why are they in on this lawsuit? Especially, the one with her own practice. WTF?

This will be appealed and hopefully overturned because the judge was abusing the MTD standard and knew it, hence the 35 pages of BS. I didn't expect this suit to pass MSJ but to say they didn't allege some fraud is ridiculous.
Even if it isn't overturned it's a Pyrrhic victory for NYLS. Their main two arguments were: 1) so what if our data is misleading, the ABA doesn't require any more than what we gave and 2) yeah, our grads can't get decent paying jobs, but they should have known before that. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of the school.

As a matter of law, everyone should know NYLS stats are BS.

While I agree, it is sad that you can't get reliable data from schools.
