It doesn't matter that Harvard is the right choice, you're going to GW or nowhere this cycle.

Yeah that's what I thought too. Though this guy seems to be violating: "Within 5 business days of admission to The George Washington University Law School, withdraw all applications pending at other law schools and not initiate applications at any other law schools." unless you got into GW and Harvard in the last 5 days

The acceptance at Harvard appears to be hypothetical anyways.

Even then, he said he had until the end of the month to decide, which is clearly wrong.

So - troll or moron?

Yeah plus why would he know Harvard at sticker already? Doesn't Harvard give pretty good need-based aid?

Re-checked the mail today: received a single letter on the 17th in a standard envelope and was accepted through ED. Stoked!
LOL. You're going to GW dude.

Also: why did you apply ED to GW when you're ceiling was clearly higher?

I have no idea, the issue of aid at Harvard wasn't really something that came up during my cycle.

You have to be borderline rich to pay sticker at Harvard. Whenever I see a thread where someone says "sticker" at any of HYS I immediately think that it's either a hypothetical question or a flame.

He was thoroughly warned against going ED in earlier threads. As soon as he got into NYU he should have rescinded the ED imo. But that would have required knowing ED is binding...

It was clearly a hypothetical. While I do have the current option of paying sticker at UVA/NYU, I've not yet been accepted to HLS. What else should I expect from a bunch of arrogant, irrationally overconfident TLSers..

A person willing to blindly borrow 200k in Nnondischargeable debt to pay for degree which guarantees you NO financial benefit obviously has no understanding of the current (and future) economic realities which industrialized nations will undoubtedly face in coming years.

Thanks for the support though.

You guys are great!

But the point of hypotheticals is that they are possible situations.

And also... wut?

You should be aware though that there is practically no such thing as "paying sticker" at Harvard. They do need based aid only. Unless you or you're parents make 300K+ a year you won't be at risk for paying sticker at Harvard (or Yale/Stanford for that matter).

This is how a dumb person sounds when trying to sound smart.

Bro, the presidential scholly at GWU requires that you attend. You signed a contract saying you would go to GWU if you got it. You got it, therefore you are REQUIRED to withdraw from everywhere else -- UVa, H, NYU, EVERYWHERE.

/facepalm
