Curious about Cooley scholarships

I see that Cooley is opening its fifth campus, this one in Florida. A Cooley J.D. will cost a little less than $110,000 in tuition and fees at sticker but the school has a blanket tuition scholarship program for applicants with high UGPAs and LSAT scores.
Does anyone know what sort of conditions the school puts on these scholarships?
No, I am not a troll...I got my own J.D. long ago.

IIRC, its like top 1/3 and they are thought to stack sections so the vast majority lose them. (Obv, not everyone in one section can be top 1/3.) Not to mention them failing out huge portions of the class each semester.
Edit: A quick search suggests it might even be a top 10% stip.

Ouch. So the chances of keeping the tuition reasonable are slim to none.
Too bad.

Even if tuition was free, and your COL was paid - Cooley - BRANDON , FLORIDA why would anyone think of going there. UF>FSU>UM>Stetson>FIU>Coastal>Nova>Barry>Famu>Ave Maria>probably two other schools I'm forgetting>Cooley Brandon. If you cant get into any of the top 6 in FL (im just being nice, its top 2) then you shouldnt go to law school right now. You'd probably be better off taking that 160K+ and using it for NASCAR lessons and starting your own race team.
Its reckless to even have a discussion about the merits of this school. At a certain point you just have to say no, because eventually there will be 20 law schools in Florida, 15 of them with little to no standards for admission.

Post how much Cooley would have to pay you (on top of free tuition and living expenses, of course) for you to forego your other options and attend for the next three years. Hmm...I'd say at least $400,000.

Even if Cooley was free, you still wouldn't go there? Wow.
I dunno...maybe you all are right. But one major function of a J.D. is to qualify for the Bar exam and a Cooley degree is just as good (for that purpose) as a degree from Yale. If youn could do it for free, well...I dunno.

Yes, but the actual function of a law degree is to enable to you get a job as a lawyer (for which passing the bar is necessary, but not sufficient.) No employer worth anything is going to consider a Cooley grad for a job opening.

I'm sorry sir, but you are completely wrong about this. Barry has a world-renowned international space tax law program that Nova couldn't possibly match.

Opportunity cost? True. Get a job? True, too.
Sigh.
But the logical consequence of this reasoning, given the current lousy employment market for new lawyers, is that a large chunk of all law students should be doing something else with their lives and dollars. Isn't that the scam blog message?

Fine. I lied. 10 million dollars, and a guaranteed spot on the next moon landing.

Considering the huge oversupply of JD grads, yes, a large chunk of all law students should be doing something else.

An amount of money that would let me live comfortably for the rest of my life without a job.
