Top Law Schools

Can anyone offer some insight about private firm placement for these three? I've seen all of the statistics, but would like to hear some input.

Why are UT's big law numbers lower when I thought they place the heck out of Texas?

- Is this because there are fewer Big Law firms in Texas but a considerable supply mid-law firms?

Does Georgetown's large student body significantly hinder chances at Big Law?

Is Cornell worth sticker if you don't want to work in New York City?

UT pushes judicial clerkships pretty hard, we have more student in those than Georgetown, Cornell, or Northwestern. Clerkships are prestigious and it's safe to assume that basically anyone in a good clerkship could have done biglaw if they'd wanted to.

All of these schools have basically one market, Cornell's being the easiest to crack. The school is also more biglaw focused than the other two. If you don't want NYC, don't go to Cornell at sticker. In fact, I would think that if you don't want NYC, there's probably a better option than choosing Cornell available.
