So I am really leaning towards attending South Texas for law school, but I'm a little worried because it is a Tier 4 school. I want to stay in Texas once I graduate law school and plan to practice here, with that said, is attending South Texas a good idea? Will the job opportunities be plentiful and does anybody currently attend or heard anything about the school?

I def. wouldn't say plentiful. STCL will put you in a better position than many other T4 schools, though. May be worth considering if you get boat loads of money and are sure you want to live in Houston

Not to mention Houston is not a saturated market (at least comparing to other big cities). It's one of the better T4 schools.

It's not that it is just a T4 (although that doesn't help), it is that it is extremely expensive, they have like 1,000 enrolled people in their classes, and there are no jobs. If you end up doing really well there, as in, top 5% or better you're probably okay, but not worth the risk. If you can't get in to UH right now, retake.

24K a year is not that expensive comparing to other schools.

Okay, so it isn't as expensive as some private schools that charge 30-some thousand, but $24,000 for a directional law school is not a good deal in this economy.
