The best rankings I've seen are as follows:

Would it really be better to go to Cardozo or Houston over Harvard/Yale/Columbia if I want to do IP law? I guess I'm specifically asking if anyone has any insight into the criteria by which the US news and world report ranks these schools and whether there are alternative rankings.
Also I have had people tell me that to really succeed doing patent law you need to have an engineering bachelors - is there any truth to this?
