Above post is credited, but keep in mind MVP is unpredictable, both in terms of acceptances and money. While I would be very surprised if you didn't get $$ from at least one of MVP, you really shouldn't view MVP as a lock (with or w/o money). You should apply at the very least from CCN to the lower half of the T14 (and Vandy if you want to work in the south, UT if you want TX, UCLA/USC if you want california). I wouldn't apply any further down than that, but that's me.Tiago Splitter wrote:You can expect to get a solid scholarship from Michigan (50-75K range over 3 years), and full rides not too far below that. Get the GPA up into the high 3.8s and things get even better, as you would then be above the GPA median for Penn and Virginia.
Unfortunately you won't get much if anything from CCN. HYS only do need-based aid.
All estimates based on the assumption that you are a white dude who was closer to Rudy than Tebow.
Check out lawschoolnumbers.com and add your profile for this cycle.
Also credited. If you aren't in Virginia or applying through binding early decision, then forget about it. As Richie noted, Penn and Michigan are unpredictable. They tend to waitlist applicants who haven't convinced them of a desire to attend. To head this off, you need to write optional essays for these schools.Richie Tenenbaum wrote:

Apply to MVPDCG (N if work experience) and Vandy for sure. Also add some strong T30s in the regions of your preference (eg Fordham, BC/BU, etc.)sn20 wrote:I am applying this cycle and my numbers are mid 3.8's with a 170 LSAT. I am at a top 20 university and play D-1 football. Other softs are pretty minor (standard internships/jobs). What would you consider to be safety schools? Thanks ahead of time for the help.
