Top Law Schools

This may be dumb question but I have MVPB numbers and I ultimately want to be in LA. Love the Lakers, warm weather, and shopping at Ralphs. And my sister lives in LA. But I only have ties to SF (grew up in the bay area).

If I go to one of MVP and bid mainly LA, is ties to the state of CA sufficient- or do they want strong LA-specific ones?

Seems like being from the west coast in general helps for getting SF or LA.

Not sure why you wouldn't aim for Berkeley in this scenario. But it sounds like you have a better claim to ties than someone coming from Vermont, for example.

Can't your sister living in LA be considered a tie?
