I don't think you have much of a shot at UCLA with that GPA, but I think you have a very legit shot at NU with your LSAT. Bad news is that most CA schools like GPA. ED to NU would be my advice.

As a fellow SoCal splitter, I feel your pain, but UCLA, like most California top 100 law schools, love GPA. Considering your work history, my advice would be to ED to NU.

Yeah... buy a winter coat and a scarf. Sorry.

edit: there are worse places to go to school, so it's not the end of the world.

Not sure if applying ED is a wise decision if you are seeking scholarship money. Law school applications may be down next cycle therefore it may be wise to apply to as many law schools as feasible in order to reap the greatest benefit.

Just... what are their other options with that GPA and a fuck you LSAT score? I hear the scholarship argument, but if they don't get NU, the options get worse fast. Maybe the NU folks can weigh in.

I think that's just part of the danger that goes along with being a splitter.

That's my thought too. If NU says no, the other options are maybe WUSTL and other midwest schools for scholly money, but it'll be very tough to make it back to SoCal from these schools.

Even schools like Hastings and Davis are longshots to bite with an acceptance let alone scholly money with that GPA. (According to LSN at least).

You have better numbers than this applicant, but here's a look how someone similar did:

I say you apply ED to NU. UCLA wont take you, even with an ED.
