IU tution would be about $21,000 a year while UC's would only be around $7,000. Obviously IU is a better school, but I like UC's smaller class sizes and urban setting. Any opinions?

Do you want to live in Indiana or Ohio?

IU is better, but not that much better. If you want Indy, IU is worth it. If you like Cincinnati, this is a no brainer. If equally split between either, I would probably still go with Cincy.

I've lived in Cincinnati, and the law school places well with the bigger firms in the metro region (practically Dayton to Northern Kentucky). Lots of the partners around there are Cincy alums. I imagine it would be hard to place outside of the region, except maybe in Ohio. I also would think that IUB is the same. The cost of living in Cincinnati is very low. They are building a new law school building, however. I don't know when that will take place or how it will impact law students.

I highly recommend that you choose the school in the state where you want to work. Both schools are state/region restricted. Indiana can get you a bit farther, but it takes good work to even get up to Chicago.

If you like Cincy as a city, go there.
IU-B at that price is crazy, considering how low local salaries are...

Well, I really like Cincinnati as a city and since it's much cheaper, I would definitely pick UC. I'm assuming you've visited both schools - where did you feel more comfortable?

Cincinnati is the better choice because it's cheaper & in a better location for you. Indiana- Bloomington is expensive. If offered $40,000 per year at IU-B, then Indiana would be the wiser choice, in my opinion.
