It might factor into their decision if (1) your father is a bigshot and gave enough money (think more in the realm of "building named after him") or (2) you have really good numbers for the school and the legacy is offered as a reason that you would choose their school.

So in your situation, no on both counts. I would venture to say it won't matter one iota.

even if it did factor, it would be a marginal bump maybe from reject to "waitlist" which might just be a soft reject
