Case actually has more reach than a lot of T1 schools. Great atmosphere. Cleveland is pretty nice and the school is located in a great area. Case has a very great UG rep and the law building is nice. Go with Case, I almost chose it over t25 schools because the staff was so great and they were so accommodating.

Obviously both are quite regional, but Case will give you a better shot at working in the Mid-Atlantic region. If, however, the possibility of having to spend a few years in Ohio after law school is something you want to avoid, then go with Stetson. The winters are better in Florida.

That might be a stretch..... Last year Case only had 2 oci from Chicago. Both were unpaid government jobs. I wouldn't choose it over a t25. There is a huge difference between Case placement and ND or Emory s placement.Biff77 wrote:Case actually has more reach than a lot of T1 schools. Great atmosphere. Back on topic, I would choose Case in this instance. Get some thick down jackets and enjoy 20F not to be confused with 20c weather at Stetson.

I don't know much about Stetson, but Case has a pretty strong reputation in Ohio. It's a nice campus, there's a good deal of internship opportunity in Cleveland, and you can live pretty cheaply during law school. The biggest downside, according to a good friend who goes there, is that CWRU's atmosphere is overly competitive. He attributed a good portion of that to the scholarship stipulations (above median in prior years), but it looks like the new dean got rid of those.
Though ultimately, Case will still leave you well over 100k in debt and that's tough to stomach for any regional school.

I vote for Case. It places great in northeastern Ohio.

At those prices, neither. Too expensive for regional schools.
But if I had to choose, Stetson I guess. Because you're from FL. Easier to sell yourself as a hometown guy.
