in-state Florida State University vs. Villanova Law School

Lord have mercy, the tables have turned. I was SET on Villanova, SET SET SET in stone. Now I don't know...

FSU
- Tier 1 School, for whatever that's worth
- I'm in-state, so that will be only 14K a year.
- I went to FSU undergrad, so I know the city of Tallahassee very well. I'm very comfortable there.
- Closer to family

Villanova Law School
- 37K a YR, but I have a 15K scholly with a 3.12 gpa stip + a 1 yr 10K grant
- First year will only cost 12K
- Visited, liked it, but the place is so new to me. Living in the north is brand new for me.
- I THINK VLS grads tend to make more $$ than FSU grads.
- I always had an infatuation with the northeast, although I have been calling that into question as of late.

It's weird, because I've been having so much anxiety about leaving the sunny FL weather as of late. I was JUST at the pool, soaking up the sun, thinking "damn, I'm really going to miss this". Then I got the call from FSU.

HELP.

I'm from FL and really grew to appreciate the weather down here when it was 40 degrees outside in Minneapolis on a visit to UMN and people were RAVING about how nice it was outside.....

I would pick FSU but thats just me. Both schools are regional. I liked FSU a lot on my visit.

I'd definitely go FSU with in-state.

Go where you want to work, but I'd lean FSU, because you're from FL duder.

I voted FSU. If you attend 'Nova thinking you will love the Northeast, then get homesick, you're going to have a tough time getting back to FL. FSU seems like the safer, more fiscally sound bet.
