What kind of work do you want to do in DC? GULC would be a much better choice for government/PI jobs. NU has better biglaw placement, but I'm not sure if that's true for DC firms.

DC big law are huge grade whores. I wouldn't plan on working there unless you do very well, no matter where you go to school.

Do you think that's fairly true?
DC big law definitely does, but I dunno about PI. I bet the networking opportunity of being in DC is irreplaceable.

This. For PI in DC, GULC is probably better than most schools.

If you have the right combo of numbers, the GW ED full ride is a good solution to GULC's miser-like financial aid.

GULC's LRAP is generous for PI people. You don't have to pay anything if you make less than like 75k, and it's all forgiven if you stay for 10 years.

For PI, GULC is probably like 50x better than NU, which is very firm-focused.

That's a pretty ridiculous exaggeration.

GULC is definitely stingier than most T14s when it comes to merit aid, but they do hand out a good amount of need based to make up for it. Either way, GULC is the right move for PI positions in DC.

You should wait until you actually take the lsat, apply and get accepted. This may not be something you'll even have to worry about
