Notre Dame Law v. Fordham Law
Which one would you choose? (both sticker..

)
ND is ranked higher than Fordham, but the fact that Fordham is located in NY makes it difficult to decide. While I am not sure where I would want to practice law yet, I find good employment prospects and higher demand for internationals in NY appealing.
I'm interested in both international law and corporate law.
Any advice/opinion on this, please?
Thanks!

What is this international law of which you speak?

How debt-averse are you? Fwiw, ND is located in South Bend where the COL is very cheap, whereas NYC COL is extremely high. It may be worth the extra cost to you to live in a big city, but keep in mind that South Bend is a 1 1/2 hour drive to Chicago, or a two hour train ride.

I was talking about international human rights law.
I guess that I should be able to figure out which one fits me better soon.

International human rights law is largely fictional.

You won't be able to get this job out of either ND or Fordham, at least not for at least ten years or so after graduation.

Fordham and ND bounce around the rankings in the 15-30 spot, just like all the other 15-30 schools. Don't worry about US News rankings. Worry about where you want to work and what you want to do. If you want to work in NYC, go to Fordham. If you want to work in the midwest, go to ND.

Decide where you want to live after graduation. For NY, choose Fordham. For elsewhere, choose ND.
