Aren't the bolded the same? And what the hell is ARE?

Technically everyone is under the last category, since law students are "getting (an) advanced degree"

Hipster =/= long hair, jeans, hiking shoes, and canvas knapsacks. To clarify, that is what I mean by "Earthy".

ARE = spelling of "our" commonly seen in Facebook statuses updates from those in flyover states (like Missouri).

True enough on the last point, but I mean 25+ (like the stereotypical NU student).

Yes.

I think this is in contention for the dumbest thing I have ever read on TLS. That's quite an accomplishment, OP. Your parents must be so proud.

Yes.
Rough estimates are cool -- accepting anecdotal evidence!

How do you post this shit without the expectation of people roasting you?

BTW, why the hell is it in the "Choosing a Law School" forum?

If you didn't choose your school based on the proportion of hipsters to rednecks you're doing it wrong.

OP, your post is ridiculous. "ARE" country? Seems like you're just trying too hard to make fun of rednecks. Also, I saw you wrote something about "older" students being 25?? Newsflash, some people live life a bit instead of being all UG gunner and wasting our college years to graduate at 19.

Oh geez I'm 24....I must be a non-trad

West Coast laid back / Northwest U.S. Earthy--19.5%

New England "Prep"-- 15%

Southern "Prep"-- 21%

Hipster-- 25.5%

ARE country rednecks-- 5%

Older students (getting advanced degree)--15%

My rough guesses lol. But there is considerable overlap that could exist among these groups..

This thread would have been pointless, but arvcondor has saved the day!

This link (LinkRemoved) has some info about those monuments.
