My friend was bragging about getting into here a couple of weeks ago... Is it a good school? I've never even heard of it.

No. They're not even on the totem pole for DC.Tainted_Praise wrote:My friend was bragging about getting into here a couple of weeks ago... Is it a good school? I've never even heard of it.

Yea it is by far the lowest but you have to question whether it's worth it considering that opportunities will not be that good for UDC grads. It's not a matter of getting a job to pay off debt but a question of whether a job is attainable to actually practice law and move up in the profession.haus wrote:ran12 wrote:No. They're not even on the totem pole for DC.Tainted_Praise wrote:My friend was bragging about getting into here a couple of weeks ago... It is the most affordable law school in the DC area.
In part, it depends on what someone wants from life. I suspect that UDC will not open doors the GULC or GW will open, but it does give someone a legitimate shot at sitting for the Bar and becoming an attorney. Seeing that their bar passage rate has come up to a respectable level over the last few years, this is a legitimate option for someone who wants to become an attorney and wishes to avoid accumulating a deep pile of debt.ran12 wrote: Yea it is by far the lowest but you have to question whether it's worth it considering that opportunities will not be that good for UDC grads. I live in the Washington DC metropolitan area and I had never heard of the University until I read this post.Tainted_Praise wrote:My friend was bragging about getting into here a couple of weeks ago... Is it a good school? I've never even heard of it.
