8 hours to decide. Which offer do I take?

Which do I choose? I may like to try to get into politics on Cap Hill, might want to take over the family law practice, might want to go into business.
All I know is that I want to practice law for a bit after school.
Which is my best move? Parents will help with COL to an extent.

Are you a resident of any of these states ?
Choose from WFU, Indiana & Georgia. Large state schools can be a strong base when seeking elected office in that state.

Doesn't seem like a huge variance in cost. Where does the family live? If you take over their practice having a local degree is better.

Decided to report with COA instead of scholarships.

No, not a resident.

Haha I actually didn't realize it was the same poster. Still might help, I guess...but not as much as I thought it would.
PS Go to UGA.

Ok, so all my math in your other thread was for naught
I would narrow it down to Wake or IUB. I don't think the other options are worth the price increase. I would take Wake, because I think they have better placement in big law, they're at least trying to seem relevant in DC (semester in DC program), and, from what I recall from one of your other threads, you seemed to have a bit of an east coast preference.
After all these threads, you really must update us as to what you choose.

Why UGA? I am not too big a fan of the deep south. With IU-B, I am highly afraid of attending a school in the midwest and living in a college town for 3 years.

If not a resident of any of these states, then Indiana seems to be the best all around deal in terms of COA & quality of law school.

I would start by eliminating IUB and Wake.
Then decide how much you like MSP or ATL. If you could see yourself being happy in either of these cities for the long haul, then choose UMN or UGA respectively. If not, go Emory.

Absolutely will do. Case Western just upped my scholarship so I might throw them in.

Is Emory really worth 60K more than Wake? That is what I am having hard time deciding.

To me it would be, but YMMV depending on level of debt aversion.

Curious as to these IU-B votes. When I visited their students told me that only 10% of 3L students had jobs.

Pick a state that you like- and go to the best school and value in that state. Its all going to come down to where you want to work after graduation. You want DC but what is your backup plan if it doesnt work out that way? Where would you be comfortable living and working after law school?

I mistyped Emory. There tuition is 45K next year?
Emory would be 90K in tuition, not 78K.

Wake based on combination of price, weather and not being in a pure college town.

Where do you want to live? Those schools are all very regional.

I ended up choosing Wake Forest.
It seemed like the best fit, a good amount of prestige. Low cost and ZERO debt will allow me to keep options open.
Anyone care to add in on my final choice?

For what my silly opinion is worth, I think you made a very good choice. You said before that you wanted to work in the Northeast, and Wake will give you as much or more of a shot at that than many of the other schools + ZERO debt (which I am majorly jealous of and still stunned that people really advocated Emory over UGA and Wake at much cheaper prices).
Good luck next year!
