He also debunks the theory that everyone should be chasing BigLaw. Truth is, the really badassed lawyers tend to work for themselves. He's proof that one should think for himself and carve out his own niche. While many of his clients are scumbags, they are sometimes very rich scumbags who have valid arguments under the law and the U.S. Constitution.

TBF, as a Willamette grad, his chances at big law were nonexistent to begin with.

I mean the guy is pretty cool but for people interested in other areas of law, biglaw works on the most interesting cases and can best prepare them for private practice.
