Georgia (in-state) vs. Notre Dame ($)

Each school offered a small scholarship. The tuition difference comes out to about $17k/yr.
I don't think there is a huge difference in cost of living, although Georgia may be a little bit cheaper.
I'm not set on biglaw, although it would be nice to have the option.
I prefer living in the southeast, although I am not completely set on it. I think I could live and be happy pretty much anywhere.
Worth an extra $50k or so and interest?

I did my undergrad in Utah. I don't want to live there. My parents are in Florida, but I kind of moved all over. I did attend high school in Georgia though.

As long as you would be comfortable living in GA then UGA by far.

By far? Think so?
It just seems hard to turn down the Notre Dame prestige.
That said, I feel like I'd be quite comfortable at Georgia.
Also, added a poll. Everyone else is doing it.

Has everyone on this thread seen UGA's latest NLJ numbers? At least we are the best school in our state...
Is it worth 17K more, I'm not sure, but not so clear cut as everyone is making it seem.

I guess it all boils down to what I'm hoping to do after law school.

This. If you're set on staying in Georgia, GO TO UGA. If you want the option to move around after graduation, GO TO ND. UGA is king in Georgia, but you'll still need to do well. You'll need to do just as well at ND for the same BigLaw job opportunities in Georgia, so to me it would be a wash. For the flexibility, I'd take ND easy. If you are certain Georgia is where you want to be, go there.
I've visited both schools and had to make a similar consideration. You really can't go wrong with ND outside of the midwest
as long as you do well. To take UGA to a big market outside of Georgia, you'll need to do exceptionally well.
