Top Law Schools

i made a similar thread before-
but i wanted to hear a new batch of opinions.
i grew up in southern california, went to berkeley for undergrad, and i want to live/work in california in the long run... probably in southern california, but it doesn't have to be right away.
davis is giving me about 27k in grants and i'm negotiating merit-based scholarships right now,
irvine increased my tuition scholarship from 1/2 to 3/4-
cost of attendance is about 10k lower in davis than irvine...
i'm interested in the fields of education policy, child/youth advocacy, international human rights, etc.
help please

visit both. its a toss up. I would choose UCI because your part of their early classes in which we presume they will give more attention because the success of their law school depends on it. Plus they continue to push a PI emphasis and I think from a purely numbers perspective, there are more PI opportunities in socal than norcal considering the (needy) population is much greater. But you can't go wrong either way, Davis also has a strong PI reputation. PICD (the public interest career day) is hosted both in socal and norcal so you would easily be able to attend that either way (I think its usually hosted at UCLA in socal and somewhere in SF for norcal)

Seriously?

To OP: go with whichever's cheaper and/or has a better international program. ...Probably Davis, but if you like the comfortable nature of socal suburbia, Irvine.
